Record Sale of Anti-Virus software by qcl technologies

qcl technologies, a leading Cork based technology solutions company, recently sold the largest number of anti-virus software licences in the country, in a single sale. Musgrave SuperValu Centra (MSVC), Ireland’s largest grocery distributor and a long standing client of qcl technologies, purchased the McAfee ASAP anti-virus software, in order to ensure the security and integrity of their retail outlets computer systems nationwide.

“It was important to MSVC to have a solution that provided the best possible protection against viruses and other online security threats, particularly with increasing usage of “always-on” broadband access, but also dial-up systems, which retail outlets continue to use” explained Juliana Demery, Retail IT Services Manager, Musgrave SuperValu Centra. “Our systems have recently been optimised by qcl technologies to ensure that our computers are updated in real time to protect against the latest viruses and undesirable pc intrusions”.

Celebrations at qcl technologies

Cork-based IT company, qcl technologies, began celebrating its 15th year in business with the official opening of its new €1million premises at Monahan Road, Cork, today (Wednesday, March 3rd, 2004).
