Record Sale of Anti-Virus software by qcl technologiesqcl technologies, a leading Cork based technology solutions company, recently sold the largest number of anti-virus software licences in the country, in a single sale. Musgrave SuperValu Centra (MSVC), Ireland’s largest grocery distributor and a long standing client of qcl technologies, purchased the McAfee ASAP anti-virus software, in order to ensure the security and integrity of their retail outlets computer systems nationwide. “It was important to MSVC to have a solution that provided the best possible protection against viruses and other online security threats, particularly with increasing usage of “always-on” broadband access, but also dial-up systems, which retail outlets continue to use” explained Juliana Demery, Retail IT Services Manager, Musgrave SuperValu Centra. “Our systems have recently been optimised by qcl technologies to ensure that our computers are updated in real time to protect against the latest viruses and undesirable pc intrusions”. “As we have been working with MSVC for over a decade now, we have an excellent understanding of their technology requirements and we are confident that the award winning McAfee solution provides optimum security” said Jack Casey, Director, qcl technologies.
